The citrus bergamia tree grows natively in Italy and has a fruit similar to both the lime and grapefruit. Bergamot essential oil has been prized for hundreds of years for its use in perfumery. Our bergamot essential oil is cold-pressed from unprocessed peel of the Italian bergamot. Common Uses:Bergamot has a bright, uplifting scent and is great to brighten any mood. Our bergamot oil can also be applied topically to soothe dry skin. Diffuse or apply in 2-5% dilution. Our bergamot essential oil is bergaptene-free, which means that the components that cause photosensitivity have been removed. Bergaptene can cause severe burning when applied topically and followed by sun exposure. Aromatic Scent:The aroma is basically citrus, yet fruity and sweet with a warm spicy floral quality, and is reminiscent of Neroli and Lavender Oils. Cautions:It may cause sensitivity in some individuals.Avoid use during pregnancy.

Not your regular cold-pressed coconut oil that goes solid at room temperature. Liquid Clear Highly Stable Odorless Fractionated coconut oil comes from solid coconut oil from the Cocos Nucifera seed that has been physically processed to separate it into different fractions. The solid portion is further divided into specific saturated fats like lauric acid; the liquid portion is fractionated coconut oil. The fractionation process naturally deodorizes the oil. Fractionated coconut oil is composed primarliy of medium-chain triglycerides, known as MCT in the cosmetic and supplement industries. It stays liquid at room temperature, is clear, and is shelf stable for use in creams, lotions, and many other cosmetic preparations. It quickly absorbs into the skin and acts as an effective carrier for other topical applications - hence why many natural health professionals use it as a carrier oil for essential oils. . Common Uses:Fractionated Coconut Oil quickly absorbs into skin, making it perfect for topical therapies. It will not clog pores and is great for dry or damaged skin. It works effectively to mix with essential oils, is completely clear, and has no scent. A 5% dilution of essential oils is 1 teaspoon coconut oil to 5 drops essential oil. A 10% dilution would use 10 drops of essential oil per teaspoon of carrier oil, and so on. Shelf Life:Fractionated Coconut Oil is extremely resistant to breaking down and does not go rancid like other carrier oils. The shelf life is indefinite with proper storage (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration is not needed.
