One of the most famous cigar smokers and writers ever! Even though he had lived in New York for decades before he earned his nickname "Duke of Paducah," he still had a strong connection to his Kentucky heritage. This guy, besides a cigar label, had a warship in WWII named after him, and also the Illinois Central Railroad named a passenger train after him that went through his hometown after the war.
